I've been making video professionally since 2007. I started out editing at a Cleveland ad agency, and for the past nine years I've been at Hyland, where I've become the go-to creative mind for anything video.

A lot of the job happens before the camera rolls: figuring out what people actually need (which isn't always what they think they need), planning the shoot, determining art direction, wrangling assets, and keeping everyone on the same page through the final frame. I run our video meetings, review the work of other video designers, and occasionally hand out assignments.

I'm still hands-on every day. My work consists of digital signage for our trade-show booths, customer stories filmed on location, and shorter pieces for social media and Hyland.com. Over the years I've also created main stage video openers for our annual conference of 3,000+ people. I use AI tools throughout my process, from early concepts to finished pieces, including asset creation and voiceovers in multiple languages.

Outside of work I'm usually on my motorcycle or bike, playing video or board games, or trying a new bar or restaurant around Cleveland.
